::gasp:: fantastic piece. compositionally its ideal, and the contrast between the hand and the apple is exquisite! (i just really like that word...) i think the only problem with this piece (and trust me its more of a nitpick)... well actually it could be intentional, and if it is forgive my mention of it, but especially the negetive space at the bottom seems a little overwhelming and bleak. theres no variation over any of it, its just a flat black, and i think it needs some variation. what if you used black cloth to add some minor detail and stay true to what the original intention too. i mean in the story the queen wears black doesnt she? and compositionally it would only be a minor adjustment.
other than that, its truly a great piece, and i feel hesitant in trying to critique it because the skill level represented just shows me that what i just said was probably a redundent comment...
